Benidorm Old Town

July 2018 I began my first visit to the famous Benidorm. I had no idea what to expect, other than “Spains version of Blackpool” Living in Blackpool that wasn’t a lot to look forward too.

On arriving I was pleasantly surprised at what I was greeted with, beautiful blue seas, sandy beaches and party goers a plenty.

Around that time I had just began my journey into photography and so I ventured out DSLR in hand to explore the sights. I did take many images but the one that stood out to me, was this one. It is a busy little street filled with bars and restaurants.

The locals mixed with a few well informed holiday makers were revelling in the atmosphere of the place, laughing and joking, generally having fun. It was a stand out moment of the holiday for me. This image brings back those feeling of joy and contentment
